Terms of Service

These are the terms that govern your use of SchoolOga, operated by SCHOOLOGA TECHNOLOGIES (CAC No. 9520044). By using the platform you agree to them. If anything is unclear, email us at hello@schoologa.tech before you continue.

What SchoolOga is

SchoolOga is a WhatsApp-native operations platform for Nigerian private schools. Every paying school starts with a free 3-day operations audit. After the audit, schools that choose to continue pay a termly subscription based on their school's size.

Pricing

Subscription is per term, paid in advance. Two pricing models, the system bills whichever applies to your school:

• Per student tier — for schools using the full bundle (students, fees, parent communication, staff attendance):
  • ≤100 students — ₦1,500 per student per term
  • 101–300 students — ₦1,200 per student per term
  • 301+ students — ₦1,000 per student per term
• Per teacher tier — for schools using only the staff attendance features (e.g. those already running fees and parent communication on another system): ₦5,000 per teacher per term.

The exact tier and amount your school pays is shown live on your subscription dashboard before any payment is taken.

Billing and refunds

Subscriptions are billed termly via Paystack. We do not auto-renew without giving you advance notice and an opportunity to cancel. Refunds are available within three (3) days of your initial payment for any given term. After three days, the subscription for that term is non-refundable, regardless of usage level or whether the term has completed. The three-day window is intentionally tight because each subscription funds the school's full setup — messaging credits, audit generation, staff onboarding — within the first seventy-two hours, after which the cost has been incurred.

The 3-day audit

The 3-day operations audit is free and carries no obligation to continue. At the end of the audit, you receive a written report. You choose whether to subscribe. We will never charge you for the audit itself.

Acceptable use

The platform is for legitimate school operations. By using it you agree:

• To obtain parental consent before adding any student's parent phone number to receive automated SchoolOga messages.
• To use the messaging features only for school-related communications (fee reminders, attendance updates, school announcements). Marketing or unrelated solicitations are not permitted.
• Not to attempt to access another school's data, reverse-engineer the platform, or interfere with its operation.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the platform, send unsolicited messages, or violate these terms. If we suspend you we'll explain why and give you a chance to correct the issue where appropriate. You can cancel your subscription at any time from the dashboard. Your data is preserved for 90 days after cancellation in case you decide to return.

Service availability

We work hard to keep SchoolOga running but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. WhatsApp message delivery depends on Meta's infrastructure, which is outside our control. SMS fallback runs via Termii when WhatsApp is unavailable.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, SchoolOga's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the platform is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to school owners at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date constitutes acceptance.
